Building Focus, Coordination, and Learning Foundations Through Movement

Wednesdays 1:00pm – 2:00pm | NDIS Funding Compatible

More Than Just Movement

Our evidence-based developmental movement program is designed to support children in building a strong foundation for both physical coordination and emotional stability. By targeting the neurological systems that govern movement, we help children achieve:

  • Improved Focus and Learning – Addressing retained primitive reflexes that can often interfere with a child's ability to concentrate and learn with ease.

  • Enhanced Self-Regulation – Teaching children how to effectively "up-regulate" for alertness or "down-regulate" to find a sense of calm and focus.

  • Academic Readiness – Developing bilateral coordination and the ability to cross the body's midline, which are essential neurological foundations for reading and writing.

  • Physical Confidence – Building core strength, postural control, and balance to help children move through the world with stability.

What We Do

This is a structured, small-group developmental programme where we use purposeful movement as a tool to build functional skills. Every session includes:

  • Primitive Reflex Integration – Targeted activities to help mature the nervous system.

  • Bilateral Coordination Challenges – Exercises that get both sides of the brain and body working together.

  • Midline Crossing Patterns – Essential movements for motor planning and academic success.

  • Movement Sequencing – Following multi-step patterns to improve memory and execution.

  • Core and Postural Stability – Building the physical "anchor" required for fine motor tasks.

Perfect For Children Who:

  • Struggle with coordination or seem slightly "clumsy" compared to peers.

  • Have difficulty sitting still, focusing, or sustaining attention.

  • Find it hard to regulate their energy levels or emotions throughout the day.

  • Are working towards developmental milestones or have identified coordination concerns.

  • Would benefit from a structured, supportive small-group environment.
