Rhythm & Coordination Program
Building focus, coordination, and learning foundations through music and movement
Ages 3-5 | Tuesdays 11am-12pm | | NDIS Funding Applicable

More Than Music
When children develop rhythm and coordination skills, they're building the foundation for:
- Focus and attention - Rhythm activities strengthen the brain's ability to sequence, predict, and sustain attention
- Bilateral coordination - Moving to a beat requires both sides of the body to work together
- Self-regulation - Rhythmic activities are naturally calming and help children regulate their energy and emotions
- Learning readiness - Reading, writing, and math all require internal timing and sequencing
- Body awareness - Mastering movement patterns builds confidence and spatial understanding
What We Do
Small group program (maximum 8 children) combining:
- Rhythm instruments and music exploration
- Movement sequences to beats and patterns
- Bilateral coordination activities (both sides working together)
- Crossing midline challenges
- Balance and timing games
- Body percussion and rhythmic patterns
- Turn-taking movement activities
This is not a music performance class - it's a developmental movement program using rhythm as the tool to build coordination, focus, and regulation.
Perfect For Children Who:
- Are preparing for school and need to strengthen learning foundations
- Struggle with coordination or seem "clumsy"
- Have difficulty with focus and sustained attention
- Find it hard to regulate their energy levels
- Have been identified with coordination or developmental concerns
- Benefit from structured, small-group activities
- Need practice with bilateral movements and crossing midline
