Your Questions, Answered

Welcome! We know you probably have a few questions as you get to know us. We've gathered some of the most common ones here to help. If there's anything else you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Q: Are your programs NDIS funded?

A: Yes, we offer both individual and small group allied health programs that can be funded through your NDIS plan. These sessions run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and on Saturday & Sunday mornings. Please contact us directly to have a confidential chat about your child's plan and goals, and we can create a service agreement that works for you.

Q: What are the qualifications of the staff running the programs?

A: All programs are developed and supervised by our founder, Robyn Papworth, an allied health professional with over 10 years of experience in the early childhood and disability sectors. All staff and volunteers at the Centre have a valid Working With Children Check and are trained to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Q: Is the Centre wheelchair accessible?

A: We have wheelchair access from the rear of the building and will be installing handrails in the coming months.

Q: Do I need to stay with my child during a session?

A: All children under the age of 12 years of age require a parent or carer to be present and participate at all times. For our teen programs, you are welcome to drop your child off and enjoy a well-deserved break! However, parents and carers will be called if teen requires closer supervision than our team can provide. NDIS individual sessions are typically parent and carer being involved so that we can support your capacity and skills, unless otherwise arranged.

Q: What is your policy on sickness?

A: To protect everyone in our community, especially those who may be immunocompromised, we have a strict wellness policy. We ask that you please keep your child at home if they are showing any signs of illness (fever, persistent cough, runny nose, etc.). We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our Centre a safe and healthy space.

Q: How do I book and pay for a program?

A: For our special events and holiday programs like the Teen Hangout, you can book directly through the event page on our website (coming soon). For ongoing programs and NDIS services, the best first step is to fill out our "Community List" form or contact us directly so we can discuss the best fit for your family and arrange invoicing.
